Dub Siren DX

Dub Siren DX brings reggae sound system culture to your iPhone and iPad. Originally released in 2008, it continues to evolve, with active users including Carl Craig and Mark of Iration Steppas.

Create your own dub sessions with vintage-style sirens, artist samples, delay, filter and reverb effects, or play along live with curated reggae, dub, jungle, drum & bass and dubstep radio stations.

NEW IN THIS VERSION

• NJD siren: a live model of a classic 555 circuit-bent analog siren, with real oscillator tone, deep dives, a power-up snap and a sagging tail when you let go. Now the default siren on iPhone and iPad.
• LICKSHOT siren: the sound system laser gun. Hold for a non-stop stream of zaps, speed it up into a machine gun, or turn DEPTH down for a fat airhorn swoop.
• MUSIC VERB (iPad): hold-to-throw plate reverb on the music only, for dub-engineer drum splashes. Adjustable length (1–5 s) and low cut (100–600 Hz), with pre-delay synced to TAP TEMPO.

FEATURES

• Vintage analog-style siren oscillator, plus NJD and LICKSHOT sirens
• Factory sound packs and optional artist packs
• Delay, Bass Cut and High Cut effects
• MUSIC VERB plate reverb with TAP TEMPO sync (iPad)
• Curated internet radio with automatic station-list updates
• ONLINE station filter and station playback history
• Music library playback
• Real-time audio spectrum analyzer
• Interfaces for iPhone and iPad
