How to pick a gap pair

Compare two countries to find apps that charted in one but not in the other.

Gaps shows hits in a source country that are missing from a target country.

Steps

  1. 1

Open Gaps. The default pair is the United States as source and your language’s market as target.

  2. 2

With Pro, change the source and target country in the filter bar to compare any pair.

  3. 3

Pick a status: not in the store, in the store but not charting, or not verified yet.

  4. 4

Open a row to see its rank history in the source country and check who already serves the target market.

  5. 5

Use the category filter to focus. Local-service categories such as food delivery and navigation are left out on purpose.

A gap is a candidate, not a verdict. Always check demand and rules in the target country.
