Estimated revenue
A model estimate with a likely range, not a reported figure.
No estimate. Apps outside the grossing charts, and some countries, have no reliable rank-to-revenue curve, so we show nothing rather than a guess.
How this estimate is made
Rank: we take the app's best Top Grossing rank on the latest chart day. Category ranks are converted into an equivalent overall rank, because a #10 in Finance earns far less than a #10 overall.
Curve: that equivalent rank is read off a rank-to-revenue curve anchored on public company revenue and market-data reports for the US iPhone App Store.
Country: the curve is scaled per country (Japan is roughly a third of the US, Türkiye under 1%). Where we have no scale, such as China, there is no estimate.
Range: the likely range widens with country, category and chart depth. It is a plausible span, not a statistical confidence interval.
Not included: ads, payments outside the App Store, and any difference between gross sales and what the developer keeps. Low confidence means indirect data; medium means several independent sources agree.

PestNet and Pacific Pests, Pathogens & Weeds v13
When crop pests and diseases occur, farmers want help and advice immediately. They don't want to wait and in many cases they cannot wait. Unless they act quickly, the crop could be ruined.
This App gives extension staff and lead farmers all the information they need to treat the crop. If there is no way of saving a crop, the steps should help to prevent the problem occurring in the future.
What's new?
In version 13, we introduce an AI model to help with diagnostics. Users can present the AI with photos of their problem pest insects, diseases or weeds and the AI will give a list of possibilities with a percentage score. Those chosen can be checked by tapping on them and to compare with images from the AI database and fact sheets. The AI has its own section on how to use.
Please remember that we have not trained the AI on every pest in the PPPW app, so far only 94, chosen from the common pests selected for translation from six countries: Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu. Others will come.
We include nine new fact sheets, bringing the total to 564. There is a mix of problems: those that are local, and already in the region, and those that might come the region’s way. Lastly, many fact sheets have been edited, correcting errors and adding new information.
A new feature since v10 is access to the PestNet Community. This community network helps people anywhere in the world obtain advice and information on plant protection. PestNet users include crop growers, extension officers, researchers, and biosecurity personnel. PestNet was started in 1999 by the same people who developed PPP&W so putting the two together was thought to be a good idea! You can access PestNet from the main page of the App or from the bottom of every fact sheet. Once in Pestnet, you can filter for articles from the Internet, pest images sent for identification, or requests for advice. You can even filter for fact sheets!
You can view all the PestNet submissions without joining, but we ask you to join the PestNet Community if you want to post a submission or reply to one. This is to stop malicious automatic bots from interfering with our network. You can join by registering an active email address, or via social media. More information on the PestNet Community can be obtained from the website: https://www.pestnet.org
