Estimated revenue
A model estimate with a likely range, not a reported figure.
No estimate. Apps outside the grossing charts, and some countries, have no reliable rank-to-revenue curve, so we show nothing rather than a guess.
How this estimate is made
Rank: we take the app's best Top Grossing rank on the latest chart day. Category ranks are converted into an equivalent overall rank, because a #10 in Finance earns far less than a #10 overall.
Curve: that equivalent rank is read off a rank-to-revenue curve anchored on public company revenue and market-data reports for the US iPhone App Store.
Country: the curve is scaled per country (Japan is roughly a third of the US, Türkiye under 1%). Where we have no scale, such as China, there is no estimate.
Range: the likely range widens with country, category and chart depth. It is a plausible span, not a statistical confidence interval.
Not included: ads, payments outside the App Store, and any difference between gross sales and what the developer keeps. Low confidence means indirect data; medium means several independent sources agree.

About this app
Text from the App Store listing.
open road is a drive tracker. it starts on its own, records the drive, and puts every road you take on one map.
50,000+ drivers · 4.7 average from 785 ratings · 150K+ drives recorded
you drive every day and almost none of it gets kept. the store run, the loop, the drive to a friend's, the long way home. open road keeps all of it, so the map of where you have driven fills in on its own and any drive you took is still there a year later.
drive tracker, drive log, trip log, route tracker, car stats, mileage, odometer, driving history. people call it a lot of things. it is the same idea. every drive saved without you doing anything.
what you get
- your drive log: every drive with the route drawn, the time, the distance and the day you took it.
- your map: every road you have driven, filling in as you go.
- your garage: every car you own, tracked on its own.
- your friends on one live map while they drive.
- speed traps and zones, marked by drivers, for drivers. free, on every map.
- navigation built in, and the drive keeps recording while you use it.
- convoy voice chat with your group, and the recap after you park.
- segments: the roads you drive often, timed every pass, so you can beat your own best time.
- streaks, XP and milestones for every drive you take.
- weather on your past drives, so you remember the day how it was.
- a drive feed you can post to, or keep to yourself.
- a 3D map, a weekly recap card, and a share card for the drives worth showing.
- markers: save the roads worth going back to.
