Hermes Conduit

Hermes Conduit is an independent mobile client for connecting to a Hermes agent gateway from iPhone. It brings the core Hermes workflow into a touch-first interface designed for conversations, voice, monitoring, and quick control away from your desktop.

REAL-TIME VOICE CONVERSATIONS

• Talk naturally with two live voice engines: Gemini Live (Google) and GPT-Live (ChatGPT) — real-time speech with echo cancellation, not speak–wait–reply • Pick each engine's voice, end hands-free, keep the conversation going with the screen locked, take calls in the car with CarPlay, or start them from Siri • Run Hermes background jobs entirely by voice — start, list, and cancel — with results folded back into the conversation • The assistant draws on your host's memory and searches the web through your Hermes host; connection or quota problems are explained, never silently retried • Prefer the classic flow? Adaptive speech detection, spoken Stop and End controls, barge-in interruption, live mic metering, and automatic relisten after replies • Requires the Hermes Conduit Notifier plugin on your host (the same one that powers notifications and approval cards)

CHAT WITHOUT LOSING CONTEXT

• Continue sessions created on desktop or through configured connectors • Watch responses stream in as they are generated • Read Markdown, syntax-highlighted code, math, task lists, and Mermaid diagrams • Inspect tool calls, thinking, and delegated-agent progress when you want the details • Recent chats open instantly with a read-only saved copy while reconnecting • Attach images, PDFs, and text files — or paste an image into the composer — and view media full screen with save and share • Long sessions compress themselves so old conversations stay fast

BOTS AND GROUP CHATS

• Add Hermes bots to hosted group chats and mention anyone with @ • See who's responding in real time; room messages survive leaving and rejoining • Bot Chat notifications stay with the right conversation, even for turns that finish in the background

CONTROL EACH SESSION

• Choose a provider and model without leaving the conversation • Set a compatible reasoning effort for the active model • Monitor context usage with token counts and a visual progress ring • Browse workspace files and use slash commands • Steer or interrupt an active turn • Branch, pin, archive, refresh, or delete sessions

MORE THAN CHAT

• Switch between Hermes profiles and multiple Hermes servers, with scoped credentials per server • Review and trigger scheduled jobs • Enable or disable skills, tools, and MCP servers • Monitor configured connectors and recent gateway logs • Answer approval, clarify, and input requests from a push notification — including masked input cards for sensitive prompts • Toggle approval and input notification sounds

BUILT FOR SELF-HOSTED HERMES

Conduit connects to the Hermes dashboard and gateway that you configure. It does not include a hosted agent service. A working Hermes installation is required.

Your AI assistant can now ring your iPhone or Apple Watch when you ask it to follow up, finish a task, or get your input. Answer and talk to Hermes naturally, including responding to questions and approval requests. You decide what deserves a call, with a notification-only option if you prefer.
