Soro provides modern, intuitive user interface to control your speakers, extends your iPhone, iPad, and Mac with Siri AI, Control Center and Home Screen widgets, Live Activities and 30+ powerful Shortcuts actions. Soro lets you create both quick actions or extensive workflows to control your speakers with the Shortcuts app using widgets, Siri voice commands or automations.

• On iOS 27, ask Siri to play music with Soro, check what's playing on your speakers or learn more about what's on screen in Soro.
• Ask Siri what's playing in Soro or on Sonos: “What's playing in Soro?”
• Use Siri AI's conversational answers and broad world knowledge for open-ended music discovery, then ask to play it in Soro.
• Use Siri's onscreen awareness to play or find music you are looking at in other apps or Siri mode in the camera app.
• When in Soro, you can ask Siri for more details of the music you are looking at, either on the Now Playing screen or when browsing and looking at an album or artist.
• Siri can also run the custom Shortcuts you built with the various Soro actions in the Shortcuts app. You can fine tune the logic you want to execute and tell the name of Shortcut to Siri to run it.

5.0.5: Adds iPhone Duo and iPhone landscape support
5.0.4:

• Fixes the issue that prevented the older deprecated legacy actions from running. After this fix they should keep working at least until the next major iOS release.
• New action:
• Favorite Track (in Music Service) - Adds the track currently playing in the selected room or group to the favorites/library in its music service. Only limited number of services are supported currently, most importantly Spotify. This also work from the now playing screen as well.

• Favorite track in Apple Music (on this device)
• Add track to Apple Music playlist (on this device)

By default they take the action on the current track of the currently selected room/group in Soro, while allow selecting the room or the music item (from a preceding action) in the Shortcuts editor

• VoiceOver support
• Speech Enhancement option in Sonos Settings now controls both the regular and Arc/Beam Ultra soundbars, AI Speech Enhancement allows setting the level on Arc/Beam Ultra
• Speaker discovery improvements in Shortcuts actions
• Improved Spotify Connect and Airplay support
• Improved long-press menus in the now playing screen and music browser
• Adds permission prompt that prevented some Apple Music menu actions working properly.
• Fixes the error message that may appear when the new Connectivity Assist feature switches to cellular connection intermittently to work around potential Wifi issues. That should apply only to internet facing traffic, Soro was showing the message incorrectly.
