Estimated revenue
A model estimate with a likely range, not a reported figure.
No estimate. Apps outside the grossing charts, and some countries, have no reliable rank-to-revenue curve, so we show nothing rather than a guess.
How this estimate is made
Rank: we take the app's best Top Grossing rank on the latest chart day. Category ranks are converted into an equivalent overall rank, because a #10 in Finance earns far less than a #10 overall.
Curve: that equivalent rank is read off a rank-to-revenue curve anchored on public company revenue and market-data reports for the US iPhone App Store.
Country: the curve is scaled per country (Japan is roughly a third of the US, Türkiye under 1%). Where we have no scale, such as China, there is no estimate.
Range: the likely range widens with country, category and chart depth. It is a plausible span, not a statistical confidence interval.
Not included: ads, payments outside the App Store, and any difference between gross sales and what the developer keeps. Low confidence means indirect data; medium means several independent sources agree.

About this app

St Petersburg, 2018. Egor, his wife Vera and their three-year-old son Fedya move into an old flat at 21 Razdolnaya Street, hoping to finally make it a home. Under layers of wallpaper Egor finds a boarded-up opening: a room that appears on no floor plan. And Fedya says: "Daddy was in the wall."
OLOID is a mystical thriller visual novel with elements of psychological horror. The fear here is quiet: a hammer, old wallpaper, the meters in the hallway, and the past of the former tenants, which threatens to become your future.
- Pry open the wall with a scraper or a crowbar, tell your wife the truth or keep it from her: the game remembers every choice. At the end of the episode, the "Your Egor" screen shows who you made him.
- Three cases in one folder: a newspaper clipping from the time of the Romanovs, an official memo from 1946 and a crime report from the nineties. Three stories, and each leads to the same address.
- Mini-games: a flashlight in a dark hidden room, a safe's keypad, a car radio, "tanks" on an old TV and more.
- Oil-painted art: St Petersburg courtyards, wet granite, a psychiatric hospital, a morgue, cheap bars.
- Full Russian voice acting; text in Russian and English.
- 21 achievements.
Episode I: 28 chapters, about 1 to 1.5 hours. The script of all four episodes is written to the end.
