Estimated revenue
A model estimate with a likely range, not a reported figure.
No estimate. Apps outside the grossing charts, and some countries, have no reliable rank-to-revenue curve, so we show nothing rather than a guess.
How this estimate is made
Rank: we take the app's best Top Grossing rank on the latest chart day. Category ranks are converted into an equivalent overall rank, because a #10 in Finance earns far less than a #10 overall.
Curve: that equivalent rank is read off a rank-to-revenue curve anchored on public company revenue and market-data reports for the US iPhone App Store.
Country: the curve is scaled per country (Japan is roughly a third of the US, Türkiye under 1%). Where we have no scale, such as China, there is no estimate.
Range: the likely range widens with country, category and chart depth. It is a plausible span, not a statistical confidence interval.
Not included: ads, payments outside the App Store, and any difference between gross sales and what the developer keeps. Low confidence means indirect data; medium means several independent sources agree.

About this app

Exmens is a stock research journal for traders who want a written record of the reasoning behind each idea.
A price move is easy to remember. The original thesis, the numbers behind it, and the point at which it stopped making sense are much easier to lose. Exmens keeps that work together in a dedicated workspace for each public company.
Review the available context
Open a company to check its latest available quote, daily range, previous close, trading session, upcoming earnings, and recorded fundamental values. Data timestamps and unavailable fields remain visible, so you always know what information you are working with.
Write a thesis you can revisit
Describe what you expect and why. Link the idea to a metric, note which way you expect that metric to move, define what would make you reconsider, and choose a date for the next review. The result is a research note with clear conditions, not an automated trading signal.
See what needs attention today
The Today view shows reviews that are due soon, upcoming earnings, and recent checkpoints. It gives you a practical place to start when you return to the app.
Keep a record of every review
At review time, assess each active assumption and save a dated checkpoint with your conclusion, current risks, open questions, supporting evidence, and next review date. Saved checkpoints do not change. If you need to correct one, Exmens creates a new revision and preserves the original.
Compare one review with the last
See how assumption statuses, supporting metrics, risks, and questions changed between checkpoints. Exmens separates new, removed, resolved, changed, and unchanged items so you can follow the history without reconstructing it from scattered notes.
Export a research brief
Turn any saved checkpoint into a structured English PDF with the company details, review summary, assumptions, evidence, changes, risks, questions, sources, and timestamps. The PDF is created on your device and can be shared through the standard iOS share sheet.
Your research stays on your device
Company workspaces, assumptions, checkpoints, and saved evidence are stored locally. Exmens has no account requirement, ads, analytics, tracking, brokerage connection, portfolio sync, or trade execution.
Exmens is an organizational tool for informational stock research. It does not provide personalized financial advice, recommendations, price targets, predictions, buy or sell signals, or trade execution. Provider data may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable.
