Estimated revenue
A model estimate with a likely range, not a reported figure.
No estimate. Apps outside the grossing charts, and some countries, have no reliable rank-to-revenue curve, so we show nothing rather than a guess.
How this estimate is made
Rank: we take the app's best Top Grossing rank on the latest chart day. Category ranks are converted into an equivalent overall rank, because a #10 in Finance earns far less than a #10 overall.
Curve: that equivalent rank is read off a rank-to-revenue curve anchored on public company revenue and market-data reports for the US iPhone App Store.
Country: the curve is scaled per country (Japan is roughly a third of the US, Türkiye under 1%). Where we have no scale, such as China, there is no estimate.
Range: the likely range widens with country, category and chart depth. It is a plausible span, not a statistical confidence interval.
Not included: ads, payments outside the App Store, and any difference between gross sales and what the developer keeps. Low confidence means indirect data; medium means several independent sources agree.

NEW IN 6.0 — DX7 VOICE LAB
Edit every parameter of a DX7 voice: algorithm, feedback, each operator's frequency, level, envelope and keyboard scaling, the pitch envelope and the LFO, with envelope shapes drawn as you go. Morph two voices into a new one, or generate a bank of 32 variations at a subtle, medium or wild setting; the same set number always gives the same bank. Every result is saved as a new single voice or bank with a correct checksum, and nothing is sent until you review a transfer. New libraries include a playable GLASS EP voice to start from.
EVERYTHING INCLUDED
One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac. No subscription, no per-synth add-ons, no account.
FM PATCH NAMES, FAVOURITES AND SETLISTS
The inspector now lists patch names in Yamaha TX81Z, DX21, DX27 and DX100 voices and banks, TX81Z performances, Yamaha reface DX voices and Korg volca fm2 programs alongside the DX7, Korg logue, Sequential, Circuit and DeepMind 12 formats from 5.0. Recognition is based on published MIDI specifications; community-documented layouts are labelled. DX7 voices and banks are marked as compatible with the Korg volca fm and volca fm2, which receive DX7 data.
Mark favourites, filter by tag, and search with several words across names, tags, notes, recognised models and patch names. Give entries in a send set their own destinations to build a setlist that sends to several instruments in one reviewed transfer. Shortcuts can open a library entry, import a SysEx file or prepare a send set; nothing is sent until you confirm in the app.
PATCH TOOLS
Build a 32-voice DX7 bank from voices anywhere in your library, save a single voice or rename one into a new copy. Edit bytes as hex with live validation, repair a Roland, Yamaha or XG checksum into a new copy, import SysEx from Standard MIDI Files (.mid), and find identical files or the same sound saved under another name. Audition a destination with a test note, chord, program change or All Notes Off, and use patch-request presets with documented or clearly marked suggested pacing gaps.
CAPTURE AND INSPECT
Monitor chosen CoreMIDI sources, inspect complete and partial messages, and keep the reported source and termination details. Import .syx and .mid files, review framing and supported checksum layouts, and compare changed byte regions. Unknown device formats remain unverified.
A REVIEWED TRANSFER
Prepare a frozen plan with the destination, exact message order and effective pacing before confirming a send. Use remembered device pacing profiles, follow progress and cancel later messages. One transfer runs at a time. The app never silently replays an interrupted operation.
A RECOVERABLE WORKSPACE
Name, tag and favourite messages, add notes and build ordered send sets and setlists. Export the complete workspace, inspect a backup before replacing current work, and preserve original bytes when recovering unreadable storage. Backups include exact SysEx bytes and metadata. They are unencrypted; the integrity checksum detects accidental corruption and does not authenticate the author.
EXPLORE WITHOUT AN INSTRUMENT
Nine labeled sample messages and a capture walkthrough introduce the workbench. An explicitly offline pipeline check exercises validation, review, pacing and capture through an internal transport. It sends no MIDI and does not test hardware compatibility.
No account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, tracking or developer-operated upload service. Your library, profiles and receipts stay local unless you choose a connection or sharing destination.
SysEx can change device settings and stored patches. Follow the exact model's MIDI implementation and backup procedure. Syxloom does not certify firmware updates or automatically restore hardware.
What’s new
Release notes for the latest version, as written by the developer.
Syxloom 6.0 adds the DX7 Voice Lab (Bench → Patch tools, or Edit in Voice Lab from any DX7 voice in the inspector).
- Edit: every voice parameter — algorithm, feedback, transpose, each operator's frequency, output level, envelope, velocity and keyboard scaling, the pitch envelope and the LFO — with envelope shapes drawn as you edit.
- Morph: blend two voices with a slider. Levels and envelopes are interpolated; algorithm, coarse ratio, curves and switches come from the nearer voice.
- Mutate: generate a bank of 32 variations of a voice, subtle, medium or wild. The same set number always gives the same bank.
- Every result is saved as a new single voice or 32-voice bank with a correct checksum. Nothing is sent until you review a transfer.
- New libraries include a playable GLASS EP voice designed for Syxloom, in place of the old byte-pattern example.
- Reference opens with a summary of everything included in your purchase.
