Estimated revenue
A model estimate with a likely range, not a reported figure.
No estimate. Apps outside the grossing charts, and some countries, have no reliable rank-to-revenue curve, so we show nothing rather than a guess.
How this estimate is made
Rank: we take the app's best Top Grossing rank on the latest chart day. Category ranks are converted into an equivalent overall rank, because a #10 in Finance earns far less than a #10 overall.
Curve: that equivalent rank is read off a rank-to-revenue curve anchored on public company revenue and market-data reports for the US iPhone App Store.
Country: the curve is scaled per country (Japan is roughly a third of the US, Türkiye under 1%). Where we have no scale, such as China, there is no estimate.
Range: the likely range widens with country, category and chart depth. It is a plausible span, not a statistical confidence interval.
Not included: ads, payments outside the App Store, and any difference between gross sales and what the developer keeps. Low confidence means indirect data; medium means several independent sources agree.

About this app
Text from the App Store listing.
In 2025, I first set foot on the red earth of the Serengeti. I saw lions cross the plains, wildebeest form rivers of migration, and birds whose names I did not know. Before such magnificent life, I regretted being unable to record sightings in time, remember their names, or keep learning without internet access.
That was when I decided to create SafariLingo.
More than a wildlife guide, it is a Safari companion for setting out, searching, identifying, and recording. We want to break down language and connectivity barriers, so everyone who loves the wild can truly “read” this land.
[SafariLingo: Your Ultimate Grassland Encyclopedia]
SafariLingo = Safari (a wild journey) + Lingo (language)
Our mission: make the “language of the wild journey” accessible through rich wildlife knowledge, migration tracking, and travel-recording tools.
1. Rich wildlife guide: identify what is before you
Discover mammals, birds, and reptiles common across Eastern and Southern Africa, with more species continually added. Filter by animal type, sighting status, or the Big Five; sort alphabetically or by rarity. From a lion or hornbill to an unfamiliar antelope, find the answer fast.
2. In-depth profiles: from “seeing” to “understanding”
Each profile covers taxonomy, physical traits and identification clues, habitat, diet, activity, conservation status, viewing guidance, and photography tips. Play authentic animal calls, too. Close your eyes and hear lions roar, hyenas call, and grassland birds sing—another way to know Africa.
3. Follow the herds, approach the migration
Wildebeest follow no fixed calendar, moving with rain, grass, and seasons. With Serengeti-Tracker, SafariLingo provides the latest herd locations and directions across the Serengeti and Maasai Mara. Whether planning or already on the plains, search more confidently for one of Earth’s greatest journeys of life.
4. Plan ahead: leave the unknown for wonder
View contacts and services in a local tour-operator database. The AI Safari expert matches operators to your needs, analyzes itineraries, and helps compare quotes, giving you confidence before departure.
5. Record every precious encounter
One tap saves time, location, photos, and notes. SafariLingo can read a photo’s shooting location or record your current position. Every sighting stays on the map, gradually becoming your personal Safari journal.
6. Achievements and insights
See your sighting overview, animal-category progress, and exploration data. SafariLingo automatically unlocks national parks you have explored from your sightings. Places, animals, and achievements combine into a unique grassland record. Create personalized achievement posters and sighting cards to share your memories beautifully.
7. Available in 9 languages
English, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, German, Japanese, and Korean. From animal names to park and reserve information, SafariLingo lets everyone explore Africa in a familiar language.
[Special Thanks]
- Mara Nature Center — for the professional guidance and rich wildlife knowledge base that made this app possible.
- Steve — perhaps the Serengeti’s finest guide. His passion, expertise, and deep love of the grasslands helped me understand this land in every exhilarating moment. SafariLingo owes its birth to his inspiration.
- Yu Junfeng — expedition leader for Chinese National Geography. He corrected numerous data-accuracy issues, making the product more scientifically rigorous.
